The vehicle must be physically on the presence loop, which turns on the pop-down signal, continuing physically over the security loops. Immediately after passage of the vehicle, the bollard will rise, automatically timed. If the vehicle is physically on the presence loop from the exit direction, it follows the same manoeuvre in the opposite direction.
